Local footy: EFNL, NFL, VAFA among the best photos of the weekend

The menu of games may have been a lot smaller due to the Queen’s Birthday long weekend but that didn’t stop our photographers from snapping some beauties. See the best.

It was a much quieter weekend across Melbourne suburbs due to the Queen’s Birthday long weekend.

But that doesn’t mean all local footy clubs enjoyed a week off — some decided to take centre stage.

From Melbourne’s west to the outer east, there were several games to keep an eye on.
