That Simon Goosey is a real trouper.

The Mornington footy coach and legendary goal kicker has agreed to be dunked into ice cold water at Mornington’s Fight MND fundraiser at Alexandra Park on Saturday.

The Goose will take the plunge before his Bulldogs tackle Pines — and just two weeks after having a hip replacement.

Not only that, he’s been battling a bad chest infection all week.

But he’s determined to do his bit for the good cause and, providing he gets the all clear from doctors, he will take his place in the dunk tank.Pines coach Paddy Swayn will also be dunked, along with club and league officials, including Stella Jackson and Scott Grimster.

The “premium” dunking session will be at half-time of the reserves.

On the field, Mornington will be boosted by the inclusion of former Frankston Dolphins captain Shane Hockey.

Former Tiger and Kangaroo Robin Nahas will line-up with Pines.
