Norwood has continued its aggressive recruiting spree, signing former Western Bulldogs-listed player Tristan Tweedie.
The Norsemen announced on Monday they had won the race for the signature of the talented 20-year-old, luring him across from East Ringwood.

Tweedie joined the Western Bulldogs as a Category B rookie in 2016 but was cut after just one season, playing 11 VFL games with Footscray.
He linked up with East Ringwood in 2018 and was named in the Eastern Football League Division 1 team of the year.
Tweedie will also remain on Box Hill’s list in 2019.
Norwood coach Marty Pask said Tweedie wanted to continue playing Premier division football after East Ringwood was relegated to the second tier for next season.
“He’s got aspirations and goals that he wants to go as far as he can with his footy and certainly myself and the club will do everything we can to help him,” Pask said.
“I’m guessing it was the opportunity, given where we’re at with our list and our (player) points, that we could fit someone in of his calibre.”
Tweedie’s signature comes on the back of Norwood landing VFL premiership player Mitch O’Donnell, De La Salle midfielder Lachlan Walker, Noble Park defender Ryan Morrison and former basketballer Daniel Sutcliffe.
Tweedie was recruited to the Western Bulldogs as a forward but spent his time at the elite level in defence.
Pask said Tweedie would provide important versatility for Norwood, which has missed finals for the past three years after making back-to-back grand finals in 2014 and 2015.
“I can see him spending time in our forward half but I can also see him being able to potentially go down back if required,” he said.
“If he does spend a bit of time with us I’m hoping he can play a really handy role for us in the forward half.”
