PREMIER DIVISION

Courtney Bligh, Westmeadows

In a difficult season for her side, Bligh was one of the most consistent performers.

Candice Dyson, Essendon Doutta Stars

In her first season with the club after crossing from Banyule in the Northern league. Has been named in the best 10 times out of 15 games.

Taylah Egan, Maribyrnong Park

Has been one of the more consistent players for the Lions this season.

Emily Findlay, Oak Park

Enjoying arguably the best season of her time with Oak Park. Findlay has been a consistent goalkicker throughout the season.

Annie Gray, Hillside

Drives the game with her pace and foot skills. Among the most consistent in the Sharks’ premiership push.

Chiara Guarino, Oak Park

A gun recruit from Strathmore at the start of the season. The crafty midfielder has been one of the Roos’ best this season.

Ashleigh Gunn, Aberfeldie

In her first season with Abers, Gunn has slotted in seamlessly and become an important part of her side.

Aleesha Hobbs, Essendon Doutta Stars

One of the Stars’ most important players forward of centre. She kicked 11 goals and has been named in the best nine times.

Hannah Ibrahim, Hillside

A former VFLW star who has enjoyed a fine season once again in the middle of the ground.

Olivia Lacy, Keilor

In her second season with the Blues, Lacy has produced arguably the best year of her career.

Kiera Leare, Keilor

Spending her time between the Blues and Williamstown VFLW, Leare has proven to be one of the best players when available.

Olivia Madden, Aberfeldie

A Team of the Year member in 2022 who has again enjoyed a fine season. Has plenty of leg speed which allows her to break the game open.

Erica Markesich, Aberfeldie

Has enjoyed another fine season in front of goal to finish as Aberfeldie’s leading goalkicker.

Georgia Marsland, Moonee Valley

Has been brilliant all season, one of the more consistent players in the competition. Marsland was named in the best in 12 out of 15 games.

Tegan Matthews, Maribyrnong Park

Matthews has showcased the goalkicking prowess she showed at junior level with 41 majors for the season after crossing from Keilor.

Zoe Pedersen, Maribyrnong Park

Has taken her game to another level this season as one of the Lions’ better players.

Bronwyn Peddley, Moonee Valley

A consistent force throughout the season, capable of getting forward and kicking a goal.

Alex Quigley, Oak Park

Her side’s leading goalkicker this season after finishing the home-and-away rounds with 40.

Caitlin Sargent, Hillside

In her second season with the club, the former Vic Metro representative finished as the leading goalkicker in Premier Division with 42 goals in 14 games.

Ruby Smith, Westmeadows

One of the rising stars of the competition who has continued to get better with every game.

Yasmin Welsford, Essendon Doutta Stars

The young gun has been one of the recruits of the season after playing a key role in her side’s rise up the ladder.

DIVISION 1

Natasha Campbell, Airport West

One of the fan favourites at the Eagles after a stunning run across the last four seasons. She has been in the best 12 times this season, playing a key role after her side stepped up from Division 2.

Caitlyn Crameri, Keilor Park

Provided her side with a strong target inside forward 50, consistently kicking goals and finishing as her side’s leading goalkicker.

Rhiarn Daley, Airport West

A former Eagles best-and-fairest winner. Daley has again been in brilliant form this season.

Tricia Devine, Tullamarine

You just can’t understate how good the skipper’s season was after being named in the best in every game.

Laycee Eustace, Keilor Park

One of many new faces at the Devils after the club relaunched its women’s team. Eustace went onto play a key role for her side.

Brittany Gee, Strathmore/Pascoe Vale

Able to play more footy this season, after just nine last year, and proved to be pivotal for her side in what was a difficult season.

Alisa Magri, Greenvale

Has enjoyed another fine season in front of goal and currently has 41.

Sophie Pettman, Greenvale

In her first season with the club and played a key role in the top-two finish.

Kayla Ravanello, Burnside Heights

Has again been the Bears’ leading goalkicker and has played a pivotal role in their rise up the ladder.

Brodie Stevens, Burnside Heights

Been a consistently strong performer for the Bears throughout the season, named in the best on 11 occasions.

Clara Toperosa, Strathmore/Pascoe Vale

A former league best-and-fairest, her team’s skipper produced another strong season.

Elisha Wain, Tullamarine

Crossed from Aberfeldie at the start of the season and quickly emerged as one of Tulla’s most important players.

DIVISION 2

Natachia Abela, Sunbury Lions

The leading goalkicker in the competition with 31 at the time of writing. It’s a remarkable effort for a player who was only thrown forward this season.

Megan Allan, Roxburgh Park

Came across to the club with a big reputation from Montmorency and quickly emerged as one of the better players. She was her side’s co-captain.

Connie Argyropoulos, Glenroy

Enjoyed a fine first season for the Roys being named in the best in nine out of 11 games played.

Tylah Bell, Sunbury Kangaroos

Returned to the Roos at the start of the season and became one of the most consistent players for her side.

Harmoni Chivell, Coburg Districts

A new face from Sunbury Kangaroos who has slotted into an elite back six with ease.

Natalie Dunne, Sunbury Kangaroos

A rising star of the competition who enjoyed her best season of senior footy with 20 goals and six mentions in the best.

Audrey Follett, Sunbury Lions

Her run and carry has been a standout feature of her game all season. No Lions player has been named in the best more.

Courtney McCormack, Taylors Lakes

Joined the Lions from Sunbury Kangaroos and quickly emerged as arguably her side’s most important player.

Caitlyn McLeod, Roxburgh Park

After joining from Montmorency in the off-season, McLeod emerged as one of the Magpies’ most consistent players this season.

Steph Pontonio, East Sunbury

A consistent player for a Thunder side who fought hard all season. Her endurance as a key element of breaking games open.

Olivia Woods, Coburg Districts

One of the stars of a Lions side right in the premiership mix. Has dominated all season and managed to get forward and kick goals consistently.
