ABERFELDIE sharpshooter Kyle Reimers could return for this weekend’s crucial clash against Keilor after spending the past fortnight in the Essendon District Football League club’s reserves side.
Reimers has played just one Premier Division match this year — against Pascoe Vale on April 7 — and has four goals in the past two weeks in the seconds.

A calf complaint sidelined the former Essendon forward, but Abers coach Adam Potter said Reimers was in line to face the Blues at Clifton Park.
Caleb Hislop should also be available, while James Peters will be “touch and go”.
“We’ll see how he goes throughout the week with recovery and training, but he could be in contention to come back in for that game,” Potter said of Reimers.
Reimers has been a key contributor to Aberfeldie’s success, kicking 101 goals in the past two seasons.
The reigning premier sits fourth on the ladder after 12 rounds with an 8-1-3 record after sweeping aside Avondale Heights by 52 points on Saturday, 21.12 (138) to 13.8 (86).
The fact Abers piled on eight goals with the breeze in each of the second and fourth quarters proved decisive.
Josh Cubillo dominated in the midfield, Stefan Rasinac shone in defence, while Jayden Foster (five goals), Josh Pound (four) and Tom Hislop (three) combined for 12 majors.
“I think we kicked eight goals from 15 entries in the second quarter and a similar number in the last quarter,” Potter said.
“Jayden Foster marked everything that came his way and with the likes of Josh Pound and Tom Hislop, who has now played three (games) in a row, they were really dangerous up front.”
Six clubs remain in contention for the premiership, with three games separating ladder-leader Maribyrnong Park (10-2) and sixth-placed Pascoe Vale (7-5).
“I don’t think anyone’s assured a top-four spot at the moment. You’ve just got to take it week to week and try and bank four points,” Potter said.
“It’s a very even competition, which I think is good for the EDFL.
“To have six sides at the end of Round 12 vying for four spots I think is healthy.
“Anyone in that top six can beat anyone. It’s going to be an interesting last third of the year and then a really good finals series.”
