THE journeyman local football career of Damian Cupido will continue in a NSW country town next year when the former AFL player pulls on the boots for his 10th club in nine seasons.
Damian Cupido joins East Burwood in the Eastern Football League from Gippsland club Bairnsdale
It was announced on Wednesday the former AFL player had signed on to play at Hume league club Henty in 2018 after a stint at East Burwood.
The former Essendon and Brisbane forward has a long list of clubs following his 53-game career in the AFL.
Cupido, 35, played nine games at the Rams in Division 4 of the Eastern Football League this year after spending the first half of the season with Gippsland league club Bairnsdale.
He first began his local football journey at North Albury in the Ovens and Murray in 2010 before returning to junior club Croydon in the EFL in 2011.
He departed the Blues midway through 2012 and joined Yarra Valley outfit Mount Evelyn for the rest of the season.
The talented forward booted 103 goals for Ouyen in the Mallee competition in 2013 before a two-year coaching stint at Rumbalara in the Murray league.
He signed on to coach Essendon District club Airport West for the 2016 season but lasted just four games in the role, spending the rest of the season at Bacchus Marsh in the Ballarat Football League.
