The Greater Western Victoria Rebels will enter the final day of the V-Line Cup with destiny in their own hands.

The V-Line Cup is being held in Ballarat for the first time with seven regions competing in the under-15s event.

Both boys and girls are competing and the hosts are impressing.

The Rebels, who didn’t play on day two, Tuesday, head into day three unbeaten and have every chance of winning.

The tournament sees three Divisions compete - girls, Division 1 boys and Division 2 boys.

The winner is decided from not only victories during the tournament but how each team develops and how much the teams impress the coaches.

If GWV can beat the Falcons in all three Divisions then the Rebels can win the title.

But there will be other teams hoping they can win after impressing on Day 2 including the Dandenong Stingrays.

Last year’s winners won four out of their six matches.

Here is the wrap on both days.

Under-15 girls

It’s been a tough campaign for the Murray Bushrangers but the great thing is the team kept on trying, regardless of the scoreboard.

The Bushrangers were been beaten by 125 and 139 points in the two games by the GWV Rebels and North East Border sides.
