Nestled in the sunshine, in and around Mildura, the football talent continues to grow.
Here’s a look at some of the best players from across the Sunraysia and Millewa competitions.
Jedd Anderson (Bambill, Millewa)
Now in his second season with the club, Anderson has transformed into one of the Saints’ most important players.
Elijah Brown (Mildura, Sunraysia)
Played in the U23 interleague side earlier in the season. Provides plenty of spark up forward.
Jayden Cogan (Cardross, Millewa)
Made the move at the start of the season to play alongside his three brothers from South Mildura. Has won contested ball winning ability to the midfield.
Jack Cottrell (Wentworth, Sunraysia)
Played in the under-23 interleague game earlier this season. Again putting together a strong season.
Brendan Dew (Mildura, Sunraysia)
A new recruit from SA in the off-season. Dew is a strong midfielder who can break the game open with his elite skills.
Macey Eaton (Irymple, Sunraysia)
Returned to the club at the start of the season after a stint with Golden Square in Bendigo and has immediately become a damaging force.
Ben Galbraith (Imperials, Sunraysia)
A super reliable player who can break the game open from defence.
Ethan Gill (Robinvale-Euston, Sunraysia)
Making up for lost time after playing just six games last season. Gill has reminded everyone why he’s among the competition’s best rucks.
Tate Hulland (Ouyen United, Sunraysia)
Featured in the U23 interleague game this season and has consistently been in his side’s better players.
Ben Hurley (Mildura, Sunraysia)
Has returned from a broken leg this year. Plays an important role as a key defender.
Sam Kalbfell (South Mildura, Sunraysia)
In his second season with the Bulldogs, Kalbfell is a clean inside midfielder who is consistently in his side’s best.
Zachary Kelly (Werrimull, Millewa)
In his second season with the club and has been among the most consistent players.
Jayden Kitt (Cardross, Millewa)
A previous league medal winner who is one of the best clearance players in the competition.
Marly McGregor (Merebin, Sunraysia)
Joined the club at the start of the season and has been brilliant when available with eight mentions in the best in nine games.
Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti (Imperials, Sunraysia)
Since arriving at the club after his AFL career, Tippa has continued to be one of the competition’s most dynamic players.
Blake McDonnell (Wentworth, Sunraysia)
Been in flying form all season long. Consistently among his side’s best.
Baxter Mensch (Robinvale-Euston, Sunraysia)
A new face in the competition after moving from Torquay. Been superb as one of the elite midfielders.
Frank Miceli (Cardross, Millewa)

Jack Parker (Red Cliffs, Sunraysia)
An important man in the middle of the ground for the Tigers. Consistently appears among the better players for his side.
Noah Pegoraro (Mildura, Sunraysia)
The ex-WAFL talent has arguably been the recruit of the season with 64 goals, a competition high. Came advertised as a player who could player either end but has slotted in up forward.
Harrison Pinyon (Meringur, Millewa)
Has returned to the footy field after a year away and been a consistent player for his side.
Jarred Robinson (Nangiloc, Millewa)
The big man is enjoying another fine season for his side. He’s ability to get back and take intercept marks is key.
Mitch Rogerson (Mildura, Sunraysia)
Putting together a brilliant season as assistant coach. Rogerson suffered a horror facial injury at the end of last season but is playing a pivotal role in the middle.
Ash Rowe (Merbein, Sunraysia)
Enjoying another strong season despite the challenges for his side.
Harrison Soraggi (South Mildura, Sunraysia)
Joined the club from Balranald in the off-season and has been a great acquisition in the middle of the ground.
Jake Thrum (Irymple, Sunraysia)
Now in his second year with the club, Thrum has shown why he’s been a brilliant pick up.
Peter Tuifao (Red Cliffs, Sunraysia)
A consistent among the better players in recent seasons, he remains arguably Red Cliffs’ most important player.
