All the latest recruits in the Goulburn league for season 2025
The off-season is well underway for Goulburn league clubs who have unveiled a host of recruits for 2025. Here are all the moves in our signing tracker.

All Goulburn Valley clubs will be chasing one team as the off-season begins for next year.
Echuca has won the past three titles and will be looking for a fourth-straight title in GV.
Can another team rise to beat them or will the Mighty Bombers prevail again?
Check out all the off-season signings below.
BENALLA
Nathan Wright: Joins the Saints from Labrador in the QAFL. Wright is a key forward/backman who has also been part of the Gold Coast academy.
Ryley Ely: Joins the Saints after being captain of the under-18 premiership winning Wangaratta Rovers side. Ely also played some senior games for the Rovers and is expected to make an impact next year.
Cooper Gracie: Another player who returns to the club after playing for the Wangaratta Rovers. Last season he played in the under-18 premiership win for the Rovers.
Ethan Maney: Maney is a midfielder and forward who comes to the club from South Australia. The new Saint is a two-time premiership player for Kalangadoo in the Mid South Eastern Football League and has also played football in the Northern Territory.

EUROA
Tom Burke: Joins his brother Nic at the club. Burke last season played for South Barwon in the Geelong league and made five appearances in seniors.
Brodie Asquith: Heads back to the Magpies after playing in the Kyabram league. Joins his brother (below) back at the club.
Nic Asquith: Returns to the club after playing for Nagambie in the Kyabram league for the past two seasons. In 2024, he kicked 11 goals in 18 games.
KYABRAM
Jack Sheldon: The former premiership player at the Bombers returns after a couple of years at Moama. Capable of playing in the midfield and in defence.
Coby McCarthy: Comes back to the club after playing for Tongala and Mooroopna in recent years. At Tongala he won club and league best and fairests. McCarthy is a midfielder who has also played in the Northern Territory.
Zac Cerrone: Returns to the club after playing for Kyabram in 2022. Cerrone has played for Lancaster in recent years helping the team to win the premiership in the Kyabram league. He kicked 71 goals last year and won the clubs best and fairest.
Billy Mclay: A former junior at Kyabram who is back after playing for Tongala last season. Known for his precise kicking, he played 18 games and was among the best in eight of them for the Blues.
Sam Vick: Comes to the club after playing for Lancaster for the previous few years. He won two premierships at the club and returns to Kyabram after playing reserves in 2017.
Mitch Gugliotti: The midfielder returns to Kyabram after playing for Tongala for the past two seasons. He won the reserves best and fairest medal in the Goulburn Valley competition in 2019.
Tom Holman: The four-time premiership player at the club returns after playing for Moama last year. He will also be an assistant coach next year at the Bombers.
Jarryd Pertzel: Comes back to the club after playing for Kerang last season. The forward is a goal sneak who has already won a premiership with Kyabram previously.
Jack Russell: Joins Kyabram after playing for Moama last year in the Murray league. Russell, who plays in the midfield, won the best and fairest in the competition.
MANSFIELD
Callum Brown: The former AFL player is off to country footy next year, signing with Mansfield in the GV league. Brown has recently played VFL and was best on ground in the representative game between the VFL and SANFL. He’s a hand recruit for 2025.
Mitch Lewis: The former VFL player at Casey joins Mansfield for next year. Lewis in recent years has been playing for Sunbury in the Ballarat league and helped the team to make finals in 2024. Lewis is capable of playing in the midfield and the forward line.
Nick Gray: Another former VFL player is heading to Mansfield. Gray is coming back after playing for Collingwood in the VFL and more recently for Blackburn in the Eastern league. Gray is a midfielder who can win the ball.
Will Foster: Moves to Mansfield after playing for Bonnie Doon and winning a premiership with the team in 2023. He is a left footed goal sneak who can swing a game quickly if given a chance to do so.
MOOROOPNA
Liam Leahy: Comes back to the club after playing for Murchison Toolamba and winning a premiership with the club in 2024. Leahy is a former Mooroopna junior who is a winger/midfielder.
ROCHESTER
Nash Ramage: The tall ruckman joins the Tigers from Echuca United in the Murray league. Ramage also played for the Bendigo Pioneers this season as a top-aged player.
Cooper Hamilton: The former GWS player will play for the club when he isn’t playing for the Carlton VFL team. He joins his brothers Wil and Hugh at the club.
SEYMOUR
Tom Gawthrop: The key tall, who can play in the backline or the forward line, has joined the Lions for next year. Last season, he played for Woodend-Hesket in the Riddell league.
Jackson Mansfield: A tall key position player who will play in under-18 and seniors in some matches next year. Mansfield joins from the Assumption College football program.
Cam Osmond: Moves to the club from Lancefield/Assumption College and is a forward who is ready to make an impact in the competition in 2025.
Rhys Clarke: The former Lions returns after a few years away from the club. In recent seasons he played for Tullamarine in the Essendon District league. Clarke is a good ball user who knows how to find a way to kick a goal.
Tom Jeffrey: The versatile player joins the Lions after playing in Queensland for the past few years. Jeffrey played for Aspley in the NEAFL and for Brisbane in the VFL.
SHEPPARTON BEARS
Matt Shannon: The former VFL player for Southport and Carlton returns to the club after playing for the Sharks for the past two years. The midfielder played in this year’s VFL grand final and will be a welcome addition to the Bears. Shannon played 44 games for the Bears before moving to the VFL.
SHEPPARTON SWANS
Adam Fichera: Will return to the Goulburn Valley league after playing at Shepparton East for the past three years. Last season he played 19 games and kicked 23 goals, helping the team to make the grand final. Fichera will play for the Swans after playing for Shepparton United previously.
Jono Moore: A forward who can also play in the ruck. Moore joins from Nagambie in the Kyabram league and kicked 17 goals in 13 games last season.
SHEPPARTON UNITED
Kade Chalcraft: The midfielder comes back to the club after playing in Geelong for the past few years. Chalcraft played for the Geelong VFL and also for St Mary’s in the Geelong league last year.
Jesse Cucinotta and Trent Freer: The duo are the new coaches of Shepparton United for next year. Jesse Cucinotta last year was the assistant coach, while also playing, and will now be a player coach. Trent Freer comes to the club after being a junior coach at the Goulburn Murray association. He was an assistant coach for the Goulburn Murray’s V-Line Cup campaign this year.
Sam Barbuto: The midfielder and defender joins the Demons from Maroochydore in the QAFL. In the past two seasons he has played a couple of games in the Demons reserves, while in Queensland, and will be looking to play seniors next year.
Jack Luttick: The forward joins the Demons from Rushworth in the Kyabram league. Last season he kicked 17 goals in 11 games in seniors.
Jayden Swingler: Returns to the club after not playing last season. He made four appearances in reserves for the club in 2023.
Murray Pattison: Joins the club after playing for Shepparton East last season in the Kyabram league in under-18. He kicked 27 goals in 14 games.
Blake Fothergill: Joins Shepparton United from Nagambie in the Kyabram league. Fothergill, who used to play for the Demons, won the best and fairest in the league this season and was the best on ground in the grand final. A handy player for the Demons.
Jensen Dowling: Dowling moves to Shepparton United from the Shepparton Bears. He played under-18 last season and was part of the Goulburn Valley interleague team.
Tanner Webber: Like Pattison, Webber joins from Shepparton East in the Kyabram league. Last season he kicked 38 goals in 16 games in under-18.
Caiden Phillips: Moves to the Demons after playing seniors and under-18 for the Shepparton Swans last season. Phillips was also a Murray Bushranger in 2024.
Tom Bennett: Another player to move to Shepparton United from the Shepparton Swans. Bennett played 20 games in reserves last year for the Swans and will be pushing to play seniors in 2025.
Jayedon Hexter: Moves to Shepparton United after helping Murchison-Toolamba win the Kyabram league premiership last season. Hexter also has experience in the GVFL, playing with Mooroopna a few years ago.
Sam Lewis: Returns to the club after playing for Grovedale in Geelong. Lewis made his debut in 2023 with the club in seniors.
TATURA
Adam Enever: The key tall has joined the club from North Wangaratta in the Ovens and King league. He was the best and fairest at the club in 2023 and finished runner up this season.
Jack Sinclair: Moves to the Bulldogs from the Murray league. Sinclair has played for both Tongala and Wanderers in the NTFL in the past 12 months.
Michael Archer: Comes back to Tatura after having the year off. In 2023 he played 18 games.
Jayden Armstrong: Returns to the club after almost three years on the sidelines. In 2023 he spent the year out with an ACL injury before travelling overseas to play cricket in 2024.
Cole Freeman: Moves to the Bulldogs from Mooroopna. A player with strong skills and exceptional fitness who will look to play seniors in 2025.
Jack Lefroy: The midfielder comes to the Bulldogs after playing for Kangaroo Flat and Carlton’s VFL team last year. He will play for Tatura when he isn’t playing for Coburg. He’s joined the VFL side ahead of the 2025 season.
Liam Adams: Joins the Bulldogs after impressing in the GVFL under-18 competition for his previous club. He’s looking to rise to seniors in 2025.
