POTENTIAL Collingwood father-son selection Tyler Brown is one of 10 Eastern Ranges players to receive an invitation to the AFL Draft Combine.
The Ranges have the most representatives from any region across Australia at the combine, with 83 players invited to the national testing camp.
Eastern Ranges coach Darren Bewick said Brown, who has averaged 15 disposals from his past four TAC Cup games, was starting to understand the demands required to reach the elite level.

Brown’s older brother Callum — their father Gavin played 254 games at Collingwood — was drafted to the Magpies last year and has cracked two senior appearances in his first season.
“He has come from a long way back, the more comfortable he has felt in the environment and our program the more he has opened up,” Bewick said.
“He is very different to Cal, Cal was footy, footy, footy from a very young age and Tyler is just understanding that now.
“Seeing his brother go through what he did and the opportunities that might arise for him has probably been the impetus for him to, ‘let me have a crack at it’.”
Bewick said Brown’s upside was “enormous”, with Collingwood eligible to draft him under the father-son rule.
“He has some X-factor about him that not many other players have,” he said.
“He has some really good qualities about him on and off the field we’re hopeful can take him a fair way.”
AFL Academy trio Sam Hayes, Joel Garner and Jaidyn Stephenson, potential No.1 pick Adam Cerra, Rowville pair Trent Mynott and Dylan Moore, midfielder Tom North, former top tennis prospect Jackson Ross and defender Ryley Stoddart are the other Ranges players to receive combine invites.
Stoddart only entered the Ranges program at the end of last year and has come into draft calculations on the back of impressive performances at the Ranges, Yarra Valley and for Vic Metro.
“Another one that has come out of the blue a little bit,” Bewick said.
“The first time I really took any real notice of him was January this year when we started doing a little bit more with them.
“As he has become more comfortable around the place he has really flourished.”
The combine will be held at Etihad Stadium from October 3-6.
