And now Brendan Fevola is about to be a Colt, set to debut for the Port Melbourne Colts in Southern league Division 1 on Saturday.
The Colts are hosting Dingley at JL Murphy Reserve, Port Melbourne — and it’s the club’s ladies day.
Fevola will be keen to kick a few goals and help Port Melbourne Colts snap a four-game losing streak.
Fevola says he’s in good shape as he prepares for a boxing bout with triple premiership forward Cameron Mooney in August.
He’s also played the odd game this season with Diamond Valley superules side.
“I’ve been working pretty hard,’’ he said.
“I was nearly 128kg three weeks ago and I’m down to about 116kg and a half.’’
Fevola joins another former AFL star debuting in Division 1 of the Southern league on Saturday.
Ex-Demon Jack Watts will line-up with Bentleigh against East Malvern, at Malvern.
