Premiership captain. Best and fairest winner. VFL Team of the Year member.
Andrew Moore will leave a significant void at Box Hill City Oval when he returns to South Australia in 2020 after three successful seasons in the VFL.
Moore has signed at SANFL club North Adelaide, where he previously played 17 senior games and 14 reserves appearances when AFL-listed players were allocated to state league clubs.

The star midfielder captained Box Hill to its 2018 flag and won the club’s best and fairest in the same season.
He also received Team of the Year honours in 2017 and was named in the Box Hill All Stars team earlier in August.
“Sounds pretty good when you reel that off,” Moore was saying as he prepares for the move across the border.
“It’s something I never thought I could have experienced and have the opportunity to. My big thing when I first came to the club was to win a premiership but also to develop my leadership skills.
“I am proud of my time and hopefully I’ve left an impression on the club and the group as well.”
Moore made 51 appearances in the brown and gold and departs Box Hill as one of its greats.
He is returning to South Australia, where he was drafted to Port Adelaide as a top 10 selection in 2009, to be closer to his partner’s family.

“Football is not everything, family is very important and that’s the first thing on my mind at the moment,” Moore said.
“It’s a hard decision to make knowing we’ve loved our time here … but you don’t think of it twice.”
Moore made 60 AFL appearances with Port Adelaide and Richmond and joined Box Hill ahead of the 2017 season.
“My experience there has been fantastic,” he said.
“The opportunity they have provided me throughout my time here has been incredible and I’m very grateful for the opportunity they gave me.
“I’ve got a lot of memories but most of all, I’ve created some lifelong friends.
“It’s a tough decision but there is more things to life than football.”
