SEVILLE stamped itself as Division 2 flag favourite after monstering Yarra Glen in a lopsided top-of-the-table clash on Saturday.
A seven-goal opening quarter had Seville up by 40 points and it was one-way traffic after that, the Blues saluting 21.19 (145) to 8.11 (59).

Ex-AFL Magpie Josh Fraser again chipped in to help his junior club, kicking six goals, while Mark Cecere and James Cecere, with three apiece, headed a long list of Seville winners.
“It was really pleasing to get a full squad in,” Seville coach Kane Shore said.
“They had a couple pull out at the last minute but, finally, we had close to a full squad.
“Also playing on a big dry ground after a couple weeks in the mud really suited us.”
While all at the club are delighted with the season so far Shore was quick to recall last season’s departure in the first week of finals.
“We were top of the ladder this time last year, so we’re not getting too far ahead of ourselves,” he said.
“Footy’s like that, it can all fall apart.”
The contribution of Fraser has been a huge boost and it appears likely he’ll be available for the finals while, as Northern Blues VFL coach, he’s also having an influence off the park
“It’s just so brilliant, he’s so down to earth,” Shore said.
“It’s also pleasing from a coaching point of view. I’m just a second-year coach, so to have him sitting alongside me.”
Meanwhile, Gembrook Cockatoo picked up its biggest win in some time when it thumped Kinglake 24.18 (162) to 14.5 (89).
Former league men Tarkyn Lockyer (five goals), Michael Firrito (four) and Andrew Shipp (three) joined Luke Failla (five) in bankrolling the win while Damien Volta was named Gembrook’s best.
