Woori Yallock remains in touch with Berwick, Narre Warren and Beaconsfield at the top of the Premier Division ladder after beating Wandin on Saturday.
With former St Kilda star Stephen Milne making a cameo, the Tigers saluted 16.14 (110) to 9.10 (64).
Ben Monkhorst booted five goals for the Tigers while Milne kicked four.
Kane Thompson, Zach Monkhorst and Michael Batten all played well in the win while Jordi Williams made his return after an overseas trip.
“It was very tight early and goals were hard to come by,” Woori coach Bryan Cole said. “They were unlucky, they lost (Daniel) Gorringe to injury.”

The Tigers boss said Milne’s guest appearance had been invaluable.
“He was terrific, he came up to training on Thursday night and did the president’s lunch,” Cole said. “And then he kicked three or four in about five minutes and broke the game open.”
Cole said the Tigers would use this week’s bye for the VAFA v Vic Country clash as an opportunity to rest a few niggles.
“I look at it (the bye) as a bonus,” he said. “If you want to make it a problem, it will be a problem. Everyone is in the same boat.”
Meanwhile, Beaconsfield served notice that it intends to do more than make up the numbers come finals time when it scored an 11-point win over Narre Warren at Holm Park.
The Eagles booted three goals in a stirring final quarter to get over the top of the Magpies, 10.10 (70) to 8.11 (59). Beaconsfield, third, now trails the second-ranked Narre Warren by one game.
Matthew Johnson bankrolled the win with a six-goal best-afield performance while Riley Verbi (two goals), Corey Walker and Kyle O’Sullivan all played a big part.
Jake Richardson, Joshua Tonna and Dylan Quirk were Narre Warren’s best.
With Narre Warren’s defeat, Berwick has gone a game clear at the top after a 26.26 (182) to 3.4 (22) win at Healesville. Jordan Andrews bagged 10 goals in a best-afield performance.
Olinda Ferny Creek picked up its third win for the year when it played host to Upwey Tecoma at the Olinda Recreation Reserve and saluted 19.6 (120) to 8.10 (58).
Cranbourne had the week off for the bye.
