The nominations for the 2019 AFL National Draft are in — all 843 of them.
The AFL last Friday sent clubs the final list of candidates for the draft, which starts with first-round selections on Wednesday night.
The list includes 43 delisted players looking to regain a position in the AFL, including Jeff Garlett (Melbourne), Lachie Henderson (Geelong), Daniel Menzel (Sydney), Lynden Dunn (Collingwood), Ben Crocker (Collingwood), Matt Lobbe (Carlton), Josh Deluca (Carlton), Connor Menadue (Richmond), Jordan Cunico (Geelong), Ryan Bastinac (Brisbane), Tom Jok (Essendon), Teia Miles (Hawthorn), Darren Minchington (Hawthorn), Callum Moore (Richmond), Sam Murray (Collingwood), Kurt Mutimer (West Coast Eagles) and Lewis Pierce (St Kilda).
Lachlan Delahunty, the WAFL’s 2019 Sandown Medal winner; Tom Gribble, this year’s JJ Liston Trophy recipient in the VFL; and Luke Partington, who claimed this year’s SANFL Magarey Medal, have their hands up too.
Former Hawthorn and Gold Coast Suns midfielder Mitch Hallahan, who won the league medal playing for Sorrento this year, has also nominated.
Hallahan won the Liston when playing at Box Hill Hawks while on Hawthorn’s list in 2013.
Ex-St Kilda rookie Nick O’Kearney is also searching for another chance at the elite level after spending the past two seasons under Mick McGuane at EDFL club Keilor.

There are some surprising names, including two VAFA under-19 players.
Strathmore young gun Athan Tsialtas is also on the list after booting five goals, including three in a three-minute final-term burst, against Aberfeldie in this year’s EDFL preliminary final.
Nick Goodwin, a 33-year-old who plays with Avenel in the Kyabram District league, has also nominated.
He is one of seven nominees who were born in the 1980s, with 336 born in the ‘90s and 498 in the 2000s.
