THE dust has finally settled at Mt Eliza after a hectic off-season.
A lot of quality has left Madsen Reserve, including mercurial forward Justin Van Unen, former league medallist Rohan Heasley, vice-captain David Barton and forward Sam Wettenhall — all to Wandin in the Yarra Valley league.
But the Redlegs have replenished their list with a dozen recruits, headed by Coburg midfielder Blake Mullane and Casey Scorpions key position player Jordan Moncrieff, both returning to the Mounties.
Collingwood rookie Mitch McCarthy is another key addition.
Like Mullane he has signed with the Frankston in the VFL but will play with Mt Eliza when available.
Fish Creek premiership players Cal Park and Blaine Coates are other arrivals, along with Tom Taylor and Brad Taylor. And Mt Eliza will see more of brothers Jimmy and Tom Freeman.
Kyle Docherty and Lachy Young are also back at Mt Eliza, while former Stingrays gun Mason De Wit, who is at the Dolphins, has made Mt Eliza his home club.
Mt Eliza will take its place in the strong MPNFL Division 1.
