A faulty charger could have started a fire which tore through a Brighton home, with 30 firefighters required to stop it from spreading.
Neighbours spotted flames coming out of each side of the Harwood St house when the fire broke out about 8.30pm on Friday, August 21.
Six Fire Rescue Victoria crews battled the fire inside and at the rear of the house and brought it under control within 25 minutes.
Two people living at the house evacuated before crews arrived and firefighters remained at the scene overnight to monitor the hot spots.
