He is also continuing the collection’s launch — the first time he has displayed his jewels in Australia — at Holloway’s Canterbury store today.

Procop’s visit will also raise money for the The Education Partnership for Children of Conflict and Dementia Australia.

Holloway Diamond’s owner Garry Holloway said the world launch was a once in a lifetime opportunity to not only meet one of the best in the business but to admire the unique and elegant jewellery Procop has created with Jolie.

“This is a man who served the queen,” Holloway said.

“It’s very exciting, he’s a big deal, he may never come back to Australia again.”

Mr Holloway said he was so humbled he cried when he saw the beauty and elegance of Procop’s jewels.

“The thing that blew me away is the way he makes his earrings from platinum, a heavy condensed metal, the king of metal,” he said.

“You look at them and think they will be too heavy to wear but there is nothing there, they are a quarter of what they should weigh.

“Robert sets them and then his crafts people cut away to reveal the stone which is then suspended in this tiny little vessel, it would take an hour or two to do one stone and yet each earring has at least 50 stones.

“It’s out of this world.”

Mr Holloway said Procop’s approach to buying rough gems, cutting and designing one of a kind high jewels puts him in a league of his own.

“It’s very special that he’s chosen Australia for this world launch,” he said.

The Style of Jolie collection has been launched at Holloway Diamonds, 1/54 Church St, Brighton and 110-114 Canterbury Rd, Canterbury.
