Bayside could be home to yet another tourist attraction with a plan to turn a Brighton alley into the next Hosier Lane gaining momentum.
Railway Walk runs from Middle Brighton Station to Railway Ave and is the main pedestrian route tourists use to visit the Dendy Beach bathing boxes.
But the walk has become a prime target for graffiti taggers over the years.

Residents, traders and councillors have had enough of the “unsightly” alley.
The Friends of Railway Walk, a recently formed action group, is calling for the council to step in and co-ordinate a plan to beautify it.
The group said a good start would be to paint over the walk’s graffiti-strewn walls with street art and murals.
Group spokeswoman Jacqui Lucas said the theme of the artwork could be of “local significance”.
“Bathing boxes could be painted at either end to mark the way for the tourists on their way to Dendy Beach,” Ms Lucas said.
“Local schools could also paint sections of the walk and maybe get a plaque at their spot.”
Ms Lucas said she was also open to the idea of allowing street artists to paint sections of the walk any way they pleased.
“We want it to be a beautiful place, which will make a difference not only for the community but for everyone who comes here,” she said.
Church Street Traders Association president Keiran Cromie also backed the idea.
“We welcome any move to enhance the area and make it more inviting for visitors,” he said.
Councillor Alex del Porto was among those warming to the concept.
He said the walk could be as popular as Hosier Lane in the city.
“Painting the walls with street art would also deter taggers because there is a code not to graffiti over street art,” he said.
