Choo La La is a dance school for women of all abilities, with Port Melbourne one of its many locations across Australia.
Founder Mel Cherrett said the studio allowed like-minded women to feel sexy in a supportive and empowering environment.

“Choo La La is such a special place where women can come and feel safe to express themselves,” she said.
Instructor Roseanne Lathouras said burlesque dance was a great fitness outlet, as it worked all the muscle groups.
“Dancing lengthens the muscles, increases flexibility and range of motion in joints,” she said.
Ms Lathouras said Choo La La taught all experience levels from beginner to advanced.
“I have always loved attending dance classes with other women where there was an opportunity to explore sexy moves and be cheeky with our movement without being judged,” she said.
