Footy is in Finn's family. His grandfather, Norm, played 64 matches for Hawthorn and his father was an excellent defender for the Hawks over 131 games from 1988-96.

Finn had three years in Auskick before moving on to club football.

He now plays for East Brighton Vampires Under 12 team.

"He is very diligent and single-minded," Scott Maginness said.

"When he wants something he will work hard to achieve it. He loves the challenges that he gets from footy and is excited about playing at the highest level for his age group."

Finn, who attends Brighton Beach Primary School, likes making new friends through football. He will make a few when he kicks in for the Vics Darwin.
