THE joy of toys has always had a wow factor for kids.
But now parents are set to be impressed after a recent revamp the Bayside Toy Library.
Over summer the Dendy St centre, which has been providing hours of fun for local kids for over three decades, had a super spruce up.
The library’s aim is to develop children through the joy of toys by loaning to local families in return for a small annual membership.
It is funded primarily by the membership and it is managed by two permanent staff and a volunteer committee.
Bayside Toy Library marketing co-ordinator Mariela Gauto said they underwent a major renovation in order to create a more conducive environment for its membership.
“The refurbishment has been a huge success and has created a new vibrancy among the membership,” Ms Gauto said.
“Hopefully this positive feeling will help the library increase its membership and continue to provide a valuable service to the local community.”
They will also hold a family fun day in April for the community to experience the library’s offering and as a thank you for their support.
