Early morning commuters at a bayside railway station have been left in shock after a person suffered a medical emergency on Friday.
Emergency services were called to the Aspendale railway station on the Frankston line at 7am after reports of a medical incident.
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said a person was transported to the Frankston Public Hospital.
City-bound train services were directed to run express through the station by Victoria Police during the incident, with commuters instructed to travel to Edithvale station as an alternate route.
Services have since resumed on the train line.
