A driver is in a critical condition in hospital after collision on Reserve Rd
The family of a woman critically injured in a horrific Beaumaris three-car smash is searching for a doctor who performed CPR at the scene, believing he saved her life as she improves in hospital.

A woman critically injured in a three-car crash in Beaumaris was saved from death by a passing doctor, her family believes.
And the relatives are hoping to find the anonymous life saver to thank him.
The woman remains in the Alfred Hospital but her condition has improved. She is now in a stable condition.
A family friend told the Leader the woman. who is in her 40s, would likely have died if not for the first responder performing critical CPR last Tuesday.
“The family would love to know who initially performed CPR at the scene and thank them for saving her life,” the friend said.
“As it happened, that member of the public happened to be a doctor and their efforts saved their life.”

Paramedics were called to the crash, near Beaumaris North Primary School, about 10.15am.
Police believe a Mazda 2, which the injured woman was driving, was in a collision with two other cars on Reserve Rd.
The woman was taken to The Alfred hospital in a critical condition.
No one else was injured as a result of the crash.
Police were investigating whether the crash was the result of a medical episode.
Reserve Rd was closed between Weatherall and Balcombe roads following the crash.
