An inner suburban glam girl has been charged with assaulting a police officer.
Ella Rose Morley, 24, appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on December 3 on two sets of charges.
Ms Morley is facing a charge of assault and another charge of assaulting police, while she has also been charged with driving-related offences.
The glam girl attended Lauriston Girls’ School in inner Melbourne and grew up in Malvern.
The court heard Ms Morley would be applying for a diversion in one of the matters, while she would likely be pleading guilty to the other matters.
If the diversion application was rejected, she would plead guilty to both sets of offences, the court heard.
A diversion is a way for the courts to deal with someone including avoiding a criminal record.
Ms Morley, who appeared via video link, will face court again at a later date.
Magistrate Kate Robertson extended Ms Morley’s bail until her next court appearance and she will have to appear in person next time.
