The wild ride continued in AFL SuperCoach Local in Round 5 with many new faces battling their way into the Top 10 as past leaders fell around them.

Just 40 players out of 82 SuperCoach Local competitions kept their heads and held on to their lead while 19 others were bundled out of their local Top 10 all together.

In the Progress Leader campaign, Mad Mick's Mayhem ran over the top of last week’s top team The Cunning *****.

Supercoach player Michael of Mad Mick's Mayhem sits at 11,431 points and is ranked 31st nationally, 184 points behind the Supercoach leader Ryder2Gray from Brisbane.

The fastest-rising local team this week was LucaBlues which scored 2308 and jumped 24,513 spots nationally and is now ranked 56,110th.

There are 4790 AFL SuperCoach teams in the Progress Leader’s competition.

A total of 134 SuperCoach points separate first position and tenth position.

The median score for all teams nationally is 8056.
