CHADSTONE Shopping Centre has told a dancer in a cabaret show at the centre to keep her clothes on in future after her skimpy outfit caused a stir with at least one concerned mum.
The centre kicked off its Festival de Luxe last week, but some weren’t impressed with the entertainment.

One dancer in particular grabbed people’s attention when she stripped to a tiny sparkly G-string and a barely-there bra.
That prompted at least one mum to cringe and look to see whether her children were watching.
The VIP event started at 4pm and was held for a select group of guests in a cordoned-off area of the centre, but it was in open view of passing shoppers, including families with kids.
A Chadstone spokesperson said no complaints had been received regarding Friday’s performance, but the centre had decided the dancer would now remain clothed for future shows.
The show featured Melbourne’s own darling of the theatre Rhonda Burchmore, as well as circus artists and dancers from the internationally acclaimed cabaret La Soiree.
It’s on every Saturday from 4 to 9pm until October 28.
