Today's forecast is partly cloudy; late shower; sw winds.

A dew point of 12.6 at 3pm today means the temperature will feel like a comfortable 23.7 degrees. The relative humidity is 45 per cent.

The highest expected temperature today is 24, which is 11 degrees lower than yesterday's max.

Today's maximum is the highest the mercury will climb over the next seven days, according to the forecast.

The chance of rain today is 70 per cent.

Showers are more likely tomorrow with the Bureau of Meteorology forecasting a very high (90 per cent) chance of rain.

The UV index is predicted to be 9. There is a very high risk of harm from sun exposure. Skin can be damaged and burn quickly in today’s conditions. Experts suggest avoiding sun exposure around noon and keeping to the shade. General advice is to use eye protection, sunscreen and cover up.

Winds will be west around 7 km/h in the morning shifting to west-southwest around 11 km/h in the afternoon.
