At 7am today, expect a dry day with a dew point of 9.9. The temperature will feel more like a cool 10.6 with a relative humidity of 95 per cent.

The highest expected temperature today is 19, which is 3 degrees higher than yesterday's max.

Warmer conditions are expected on five of the next six days, with the mercury climbing above today's maximum on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday.

The chance of rain today is 80 per cent.

Showers are less likely tomorrow with the Bureau of Meteorology forecasting a slim (5 per cent) chance of rain.

The UV index is predicted to be 10. There is a very high risk of harm from sun exposure. Skin can be damaged and burn quickly in today’s conditions. Experts suggest avoiding sun exposure around noon and keeping to the shade. General advice is to use eye protection, sunscreen and cover up.

Winds will be west around 8 km/h in the morning shifting to west-southwest around 11 km/h in the afternoon.
