How Mildura residents can vote in the federal election

Whether you’re casting your ballot early or on election day, here’s where and how to vote in Mildura.

Victorians will head to the polls this month to cast their votes in the 2022 Federal Election.
Election day is Saturday, May 21, but early voting begins on Monday, May 9.
Centres for in-person early voting in the Mildura region include the No 3 Oval Football Social Rooms at 48 Twelfth St, Mildura and 116 Eighth Street Mildura, which are open from 8am to varying times.

Anyone unable to attend a booth physically can apply to vote by post until May 18.
Postal ballot papers must be completed and witnessed on or before election day, and the AEC must receive them within 13 days of the election.
Voters can also register to vote over the phone by calling 1800 913 993 between May 9 and midday on May 21, and upon receiving a registration number, they must cast their votes by 6pm on election day.
On May 21, Mildura residents can vote at Mildura South Primary School, Ranfurly Primary School, Chaffey Secondary College, Salvation Army, Senior Citizens Club, Mildura West Primary School
Voting centres are also available overseas or interstate for travelling Australians.
