A boy has been rushed to hospital after being attacked by a dog in Greater Shepparton.
The boy was attacked at 2.30pm on October 27 at Merrigum, a small town near Kyabram.
He was taken to Bendigo Hospital with facial injuries in a stable condition.
The population of Merrigum is just below 700 people.
It comes after a horrific dog attack at Dandenong earlier this month which left a young woman fighting for life.
