Wandong’s Hayden Roewer pleads guilty to producing child abuse material
A northern Victorian man has been revealed as a serial sex predator whose vile crimes against children have finally caught up with him.

A Wandong man has pleaded guilty to five counts of sex crimes against children.
Hayden Roewer appeared in the Shepparton Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday for a committal mention.
The 25-year-old pleaded guilty to possessing, producing, soliciting and transmitting child abuse material, and engaging in sexual activity when children younger than 16 were present.
The offences occurred between April 20, 2023 and July 15, 2024.
Magistrate Olivia Trumble said she was satisfied there was sufficient weight to the evidence to support a conviction.
Roewer will attend Shepparton County Court on August 3 for a plea hearing.
