Tatong man charged after fatal accident with Wangaratta motorcyclist
A man has been charged and bailed over the fatal crash which killed a Wangaratta motorbike rider and left another fighting for life.

A Tatong man has been charged over a fatal crash which killed an elderly motorcyclist on Tuesday.
The 35-year-old, who was allegedly driving a white Toyota utility, was charged with one count of dangerous driving causing death and dangerous driving causing serious injury.
He briefly faced Wangaratta Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday and was granted bail.
Emergency services were called to Goorambat-Thoona Road at the intersection with Bungeet and Hammond roads about 12.10pm on Tuesday after reports a utility had collided with two motorcycles.
An 80-year-old Wangaratta man sadly died at the scene.
A motorbike rider, a 70-year-old from Wangaratta, was flown to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Toyota was not injured.
There have now been 224 lives lost on Victorian roads this year as compared to 203 last year.
