Shepparton teenager pleads guilty to knifepoint carjacking and ’post and boast’
An 18-year-old Shepparton man has pleaded guilty to carjacking with a knife and posting about driving a stolen car online.
A teenager who carjacked a vehicle in Shepparton used a knife to frighten people, and posted about driving a stolen car online, court documents have revealed.
Shakur Sutton, 18, pleaded guilty to five charges in Shepparton Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday during a committal mention.
On September 20, 2025, Sutton stole a vehicle by putting a person in fear of force while in possession of a knife.
He was also charged with aggravated carjacking on bail, driving unlicensed and driving at a dangerous speed.
On the same day in Seymour, Sutton posted material that showed or indicated an offence, being driving a stolen vehicle, had been committed.
The matter will next appear at the Melbourne Koori County Court for a directions hearing.
Sutton, who appeared in court from custody, made no application for bail.
