A regional Victorian Tattslotto outlet could be one of the luckiest in the state right now.

This year alone, Echuca Square Lotto, located at 26 Nish St, has sold more than $5 million in winning tickets from two separate draws this year.

On Saturday, a 10-person syndicate, who has been dreaming of first prize for a decade, took home $822,554.82 in prize money after it held one of the eight division one winning entries.

The entry also saw the group score two division two wins, division three, division four 20 times and division six 10 times.

It comes after one local claimed the $5 million Set For Life prize drawn on January 22, although it took five months for them to claim their winnings.

Echuca Square Lotto owner Gavin Sullivan said his heart skipped a beat when he saw another winning ticket.

“We were so happy when we heard we’d sold another division one winning entry,” he admitted.

“The syndicate, called New Start, is a standard weekly syndicate that’s been running for more than a decade!

“Most of the syndicate members are regulars, or at least semi-regular players.

“We are absolutely stoked for them. I am sure it will make a big difference to all of their lives.

“We sold a division one winning entry earlier in the year and we can’t wait to sell another.0

“It always creates such a great atmosphere and all of our customers get so excited hoping it will be their turn next.”

The winning numbers in Tattslotto draw 4171 on 10 July 2021 were 23, 22, 30, 28, 38 and 34, while the supplementary numbers were 16 and 20.
