Police investigate truck and car crash at Wahgunyah intersection

A motorist is being flown to hospital after a car and truck collided at a Wahgunyah intersection on Thursday afternoon.
A Victoria Police spokesman said officers understood a truck and a car collided at the intersection of Rutherglen-Wahgunyah Rd and Victoria St just after 1pm.
“The driver of the car is being flown to hospital with serious injuries,” he said.
“The driver of the truck stopped at the scene and is assisting police.”
The spokesman said the investigation into the circumstances of the collision remained ongoing.
