A man has died after he was hit by a car on a main street in Shepparton on Thursday night.
Police are investigating the incident where it is understood a car collided with a pedestrian on Wyndham St about 11pm.
The male pedestrian, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The male driver of the vehicle was not injured and stopped at the scene.
Part of Wyndham St remained closed on Friday morning.
