Man in hospital after being struck by e-scooter at Benalla in Goulburn Valley
A man has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after he was hit by an e-scooter in the state’s north as police hunt the rider responsible.

Police are investigating a hit-run involving an e-scooter in the state’s north on Tuesday morning.
A police spokeswoman said it is believed a person riding the scooter crashed into a man, in his 40s, on Walter Street n Benalla about 5.50am.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Ambulance Victoria confirmed a man in his 40s was taken to Northeast Health Wangaratta in a stable condition with lower body injuries.
