Driver dies after vehicle crashes into tree near Avenel
Police are investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash near Avenel that happened on Sunday morning.

The driver of a utility vehicle has died near Avenel after it crashed into a tree on Sunday morning.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
A passer-by called emergency services to Avenel-Nagambie Rd, after noticing a crashed vehicle, just before 10am.
It is understood the driver had lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree before it came to rest on it’s roof.
The driver, who is believed to be the sole occupant, died at the scene.
