A driver is dead after their car struck another vehicle on a highway just north of Shepparton.
Emergency services were called to Goulburn Valley Hwy, Congupna, about 6.30am after reports of a two vehicle collision.
One of the drivers died at the scene.
The other driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Investigations remain ongoing into the exact circumstances surrounding the collision.
