A pair of Shepparton siblings have been remembered by family and friends after their deaths in a horrific collision near Rochester.

A pair of Shepparton siblings have been remembered after they were killed in a shocking head-on collision in the state’s north earlier this month.
Dianne Smith and Peter Grant died 5km out of Rochester in the state’s north on July 5.
Emergency crews were able to pull Mrs Smith from the car but she succumbed to her injuries shortly after.
The female driver of the second vehicle was rushed to hospital in a critical condition and two teenage passengers have been assessed for non-life-threatening injuries.
Circumstances surrounding the collision are being investigated by major collision investigation unit detectives.
Ms Smith and Mr Grant’s niece, Amanda, said “they both will be dearly missed by a lot” by the Shepparton, Mooroopna and Kyabram communities.
Amanda also said their losses would leave a “hole in people’s lives”.
Katie Gledhill, a friend of Ms Smith, said “Di’s bright bubbly welcome and chat will be deeply missed by myself at Vinnies in Ky”.
A service will be held for Mr Grant and Ms Smith at 11am on Thursday, June 25, at Kittle Brothers Funeral Services.
There have been 155 lives lost on Victorian roads last year, up from 152 at the same stage last year.
