TK Maxx opens at The Glen, Uniqlo, Cotton On Mega reopen

Fashion-savvy bargain hunters are in for a treat, with a global giant known for its discounted brand names opening its fifteenth Melbourne store at a major retail hub in Melbourne’s east.

Popular discount retail chain TK Maxx has opened at The Glen.

TK Maxx offers big brands at small prices across a huge range of products including fashion, homewares and more.

It is the 15th TK Maxx store to open in Victoria since the global retailer arrived in Australia in 2017.

There are now 57 TK Maxx stores around the country.

TK Maxx Australia spokesman Tony Dunseath said the company was pleased to be expanding its presence in Victoria.

“We are thrilled to bring TK Maxx to shoppers in Glen Waverley. Every TK Maxx store offers a different assortment of brands and products and the selection changes constantly, so there will always be something fresh and exciting to discover,” he said.

The new store, on the ground floor above Woolworths, will employ about 50 staff.

Mr Dunseath said it was always on the lookout for more great people to join the TK Maxx team.

Recently TK Maxx opened in Millers Junction Village, a new centre in Altona North and it will open its next Victorian store at Westfield Knox later this year.

The Glen Superclinic has also recently opened at the centre.

Positioned near Spotlight Creative, the large bulk billing medical centre will offer multiple services from 9am to 9pm every day of the week.

It is also offering free flu vaccines, while stocks last.

Cotton On Mega and Uniqlo Australia have also reopened at the centre following the coronavirus lockdown.
