Victorian basketball has arguably never been in a better place.

Officials are hailing the depth of our up and coming stars after the unveiling of the under 20 teams to contest the national titles in February next year.

Basketball Victoria’s general manager of high performance Grant Wallace is looking forward to seeing talent continue to emerge.

“We are excited by the depth of talent that Victoria keeps producing. There were some tough decisions to make, as all the athletes worked hard during the trials and left it all out on the court during this preparation” Wallace said in a statement.

“We will play a competitive and exciting brand of basketball and look forward to continuing the successful traditions of Victorian State Teams”

Four teams were named including the top sides known as the Victorian Men and Women.

The Navy sides are being used as development teams.

The national titles will be held in Geelong between February 14 and 19.
