Neighbours have reported seeing windows blown out by the force of a ferocious fire that tore through an Oakleigh South home on Monday afternoon.

Photos shared by a neighbour show the home engulfed with smoke with flames coming out the windows.
The windows were smashed by the force of the fire with the front of the house now a blackened shell.
Children’s toys were on the front lawn including a small trampoline.
A neighbour who didn’t want to be named said the windows were blown out by the force of the fire, which sent smoke billowing over nearby homes.
The single-storey bring home went up in flames about 12.10pm on Monday, sparking multiple triple-0 calls to the Druit St property.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus searched the home to make sure nobody was inside before aggressively attacking the fire to prevent it spreading to neighbouring properties.
The fire was declared under control at 12.47pm after 30 firefighters fought the blaze.
Moorabbin Sergeant Patrick Stainthorpe said the cause of the fire was not known, but it would be treated as suspicious until police could determine otherwise.
