Authorities will strip former Finks bikie Jonas Vong of more than $200,000 in assets, just weeks after he was jailed over the drug dealing operation he ran across the road from Karoo Primary School in Rowville.

The fresh legal blow comes nearly two years after Federal Police raided the former bodybuilder and bikie gang member’s Karoo Rd home, where they seized 2.4kg of cocaine and more than 700g of the party drug MDMA.

Vong was last month sentenced to seven years jail, with a non-parole period of four years and nine months, after pleading guilty to a string of offences including trafficking commercial quantities of drugs, dealing with the proceeds of crime, and possessing an unregistered firearm.

In a brief hearing in the County Court on Tuesday, the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecution asked the court to rubberstamp the forfeiture of $205,700 in cash found in a shopping bag during the police raid.

It is understood the application was rubber-stamped, although the hearing was not open to the public and the court does not make public its orders in proceeds of crime cases, for reasons which are unclear.

The cash has been kept by police as evidence since the raid, but Vong’s guilty plea last month paved the way for its forfeiture.

The cash is understood to have been Vong’s only significant asset, and its forfeiture will leave him virtually penniless when he is eligible for parole in late 2028.

The 34-year-old former muscle man became a cocaine addict after joining the Finks bikie gang, whose members encouraged him to use the drug instead of methamphetamine.

Vong’s largely used encrypted app Threema to sell drugs in wholesale quantities to street-level dealers.

The large blocks of cocaine found at his house carried the logo of formerly-up-market fashion brand Polo.

Vong also kept a loaded handgun under an ottoman in his living room, near childrens' toys.
