Ramsay, star of British TV shows like Hell’s Kitchen and Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares, is famously fond of dropping the odd F-bomb onset but he’s put the apron down to head out to Westfield Doncaster to promote his new book, which is said to offer healthy choices without compromising on taste and flavour.

Ramsay said Australia was a “cool country with stunning produce”.

“The lively food scene has amazing global influences, with some exciting chefs creating some truly impressive dining experiences,” he said.

“Beautiful beaches and vibrant cities mixed with a laid back attitude, the beer is cold and the sun always shines! What’s not to love?”

The 52-year-old shot to fame in the early 2000s with his reality TV series Hell’s Kitchen, which featured prospective chefs competing with each other for a final prize.

He became known for a no-nonsense approach and his penchant for cursing and went on to make Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares where he visited failing restaurants and tried to help turn their businesses around.
