Bulleen store manager Marie Le said staff were looking forward to opening the doors in a few days.
“We’re really excited to be opening the first drive-through Krispy Kreme in Melbourne in more than 10 years. Our team of 40 can’t wait to celebrate the opening by giving away 10,000 doughnuts,” she said.
“The new large format store will allow the team to serve our signature doughnuts hot off the line as well as showcase our speciality barista-made coffee and growing desserts range.”
There will be an outdoor seating area as well as the drive-through.
But for those who want to go inside, the store has seating for 80 and a new range of bagels, seasonal specials, coffee and shakes.
The Manningham Rd store will be open daily from 6am to 11pm and offer free wi-fi.
