The site of a controversially approved application for a massive development in Oakleigh South is up for sale.

More than a year after the subdivision for the 96-house proposal was approved — only after Monash Council fought the proposal through VCAT, the Supreme Court and VCAT again — 10 Alvina St is back on the market.

The former Clayton West Primary School site, which is on two hectares, is being sold through CBRE.

The townhouses are designed by international architects Rothelowman, while the site is surrounded by many primary schools, secondary colleges and Monash University.

Expressions of interest close November 15.
