Federal Election 2022: Chisholm voting centres list for pre-poll and May 21

It’s the most marginal seat in Victoria, and Chisholm residents will have a big say in the May 21 federal election. Here’s where you can cast your vote.

Chisholm residents will head to the polls this month to cast their votes in the 2022 federal election.

Election day is Saturday, May 21, but early voting begins on Monday, May 9.

Centres for in-person early voting in the Chisholm electorate include the Box Hill Town Hall on Whitehorse Rd, and the Oakleigh Masonic Hall on Drummond St.

They’ll be open from 8am-8pm from May 9-13, 9am-4pm on May 14, 8am-8pm from May 16-19, and 8am-6pm on May 20.

Anyone unable to attend a booth physically can apply to vote by post until May 18.

Postal ballot papers must be completed and witnessed on or before election day, and the Australian Electoral Commission must receive them within 13 days of the election.

Voters can also register to vote over the phone by calling 1800 913 993 between May 9 and noon on May 21, and upon receiving a registration number, they must cast their votes by 6pm on election day.

Voting centres are also available overseas or interstate for travelling Australians.
