A driver has been taken to hospital after crashing their car on the Monash Freeway, sparking traffic chaos.
Emergency crews were called to the single vehicle crash on the Monash just before 11am in Chadstone, between Huntingdale and Warrigal roads, after the car flipped and ended up on its roof.
The driver was taken to hospital for precaution
Ambulance Victoria said paramedics responded to the incident about 10.50am and one person had been taken to the Alfred Hospital.
Three lanes were closed inbound between Huntingdale and Warrigal roads after the crash but have now reopened.
